Integrated Children’s Centres consist of  a network of organisations, which work with children (0-16 years) and their families.  Their main aim is the co-ordination, integration and further development of services, focusing on 4 main areas of provision; Early Years Education, Childcare, Training andCommunity Development, and Open Access Play.

Surestart

Sure Start provides support to families with children from before birth to four years.  It includes practical help and support at home, parenting skill groups, parent and baby groups, courses with crèches, and much more.

Cylchoedd Meithrin

The aim of the Cylch Meithrin is to promote the education and development of children from two years of age to school age. Children will be able to learn and socialise under the guidance of professional, qualified and dedicated staff. Welsh is the language of the cylch meithrin, but all children are welcomed to the cylch whether they speak Welsh or not. Every child is given the opportunity to learn a wide range of Welsh language skills.

Cylchoedd Ti a Fi (Parent  & Toddler Group)

The aim of the cylch Ti a Fi is to offer parents and carers an
opportunity to enjoy playing with their children and socializing in an informal Welsh atmosphere.  The cylch Ti a Fi provides activities which promotes child development from birth to school age. A great opportunity for parents and carers to meet in an informal atmosphere, to share experiences and socialize, and an opportunity for children to play and make friends.

Nursery
A full day bilingual nursery which offers a safe & secure play environment where children can develop to their full potential and be valued as individuals. Children aged 6 months to 4 years can attend. We are open 5days a week 8.30am - 5.30pm.

After School & Holiday Club
Machynlleth After School Club is situated at Ty Melfed, which is part of the Machynlleth primary school site. It has been set up to provide bilingual play and care for children aged 4 - 12. Children from all schools in the Bro Dyfi area are welcome to come to the club on a regular or occasional basis. The After School Club aims to provide children with the opportunity to play, have fun and explore new ideas and activities together in a safe environment. Children have the opportunity to choose their own activities and enjoy the company of other children from a wide age range.

Montgomershire Disability Forum

The aim of the Montgomeryshire Disability Forum is to become the voice of disabled people in Montgomeryshire and work with other disability or impairment specific groups throughout Powys as a strong county-wide network of disabled people.
