The aim of the Cylch Meithrin is to promote the education and development of children from two years of age to school age. Children will be able to learn and socialise under the guidance of professional, qualified and dedicated staff. Welsh is the language of the cylch meithrin, but all children are welcomed to the cylch whether they speak Welsh or not. Every child is given the opportunity to learn a wide range of Welsh language skills.
The aim of the cylch Ti a Fi is to offer parents and carers an
opportunity to enjoy playing with their children and socializing in an informal Welsh atmosphere. The cylch Ti a Fi provides activities which promotes child development from birth to school age. A great opportunity for parents and carers to meet in an informal atmosphere, to share experiences and socialize, and an opportunity for children to play and make friends.

Machynlleth After School Club is situated at Ty Melfed, which is part of the Machynlleth primary school site. It has been set up to provide bilingual play and care for children aged 4 - 12. Children from all schools in the Bro Dyfi area are welcome to come to the club on a regular or occasional basis. The After School Club aims to provide children with the opportunity to play, have fun and explore new ideas and activities together in a safe environment.
