Bro Ddyfi Communities First will be holding a coffee morning in partnership with staff from The Robert Owen Montgomeryshire Credit Union on the 22nd of June at the Bro Ddyfi Communities First Office, Yr Hen Siop, Bryn y Gog, Machynlleth, when Bro Ddyfi residents will be most welcome to come and join us for light refreshments and a chat between 11.00am and 12.30pm.
There will be an opportunity to find out about the range of financial services available through the Robert Owen Credit Union which include secure savings, loans for starting a business, personal affordable loans and much more.
The Robert Owen Credit Union was first established in 1995 and offers services to all those who live or work in Montgomeryshire. It has collection points at the Bro Ddyfi Communities First Office at Machynlleth as well as at Newtown, Llanidloes, Oldford and Welshpool, with membership being open to anyone living or working in Montgomeryshire.
The partnership between Bro Ddyfi Communities First and the Credit Union has benefited many local people seeking an ethical alternative to the High Street Banks or searching for affordable credit.
Anybody calling in for a cuppa on the 22nd of June will receive FREE Credit Union membership, thereby saving the normal £5 fee, as well as a copy of a FREE money saving energy advice booklet that includes lots of tips on how to save £££££££ off your energy bills.
