Community Action Plan

 Community Action Plan

This is a community led three-year plan that was officially launched at the Oldford Communities First Partnership AGM in December 2007.

 

You may have also seen us at various workshops and events during 2007. This was to ensure we got the opinions of as many people as possible to help us put together Oldford’s community action plan 2008-2011.

 

Oldford Communities First partnership members and staff were out and about during 2007 asking the residents of Oldford what their top priorities for change on Oldford were. The community action plan hopes to address the identified needs and we need as much help from community members as possible.

 

We have kept the residents of Oldford up to date throughout the process with

Leaflets, fliers, posters and regular features on the Community Action Plan in the Oldford Voice, the community newsletter.

 

There were lots of things that were identified as priorities that went under the following titles:

 

¨      Education and Training

¨      Crime and Community Safety

¨      Environment

¨      Community

¨      Health and Well Being
